Perde Lele
This actually means flying horses in the Hawaiian language. When Willow looks at the sign she sees a flying horse engraved.

Ruby and Rose
Ruby and Rose are Willow's mother and adopted mother. I took the name from one of my favorite character's in RWBY (Ruby Rose) and split the name between the two mother's.

Jaune
I took this name from another favorite character of mine in RWBY.

Tumma and Kuu
I had fun with this because in Finnish Tumma mean's dark and Kuu means moon. This was supposed to be a subtle hint that Tumma was Moon of the Dark in the book. This is also why Tumma says he is from Finland.

Beite Gorm
This means Beta Blue in the Irish and Scottish Gaelic language. This character was named after my blue beta fish. I had one fish named Bluemoon and another BG.

Nehemiah
Nehemiah is based off the character in the Bible. In the end of Journey to Bluemoon he transforms Edwin's birthmark into a snowflake (his birthmark crumbles and comes back) similar to the book in the Bible about the walls crumbling.
